St. Matt's Youth meets on Sundays at 9:30 AM for Donuts & Discovery in Classroom 4 and at 5 PM for Alpha Youth in the Classrooms on the Hill.

Start your Sunday mornings with a treat and some thought-provoking conversations at Donuts and Discovery. Join us for donuts and engaging faith discussions tailored just for you. It's the perfect way to connect with friends, explore big questions, and deepen your understanding of faith.
Alpha Youth
Sundays from 5 - 7 PM
Dinner, Games, and Big Questions. Oct. 27th no evening Alpha Youth. Alpha Youth is a series of interactive sessions designed to start an open and honest conversation around some of life’s big questions. Topics at Alpha Youth include: Welcome to the Conversation, Who is Jesus? Why did Jesus die? Why do I need a relationship with God? How do I develop a relationship with God? Why does evil exist and how can I overcome it?
We understand the teen years can be challenging. As students navigate this time of rapid growth, they need a space where they can discover how God sees them. Our goal is to build a community where every student feels valued and knows they belong. The middle and high school journey may have its bumps, but it doesn’t have to be walked alone.

Meet Our Youth Minister
Meet our Youth Minister, Ben Merola, a former member of St. Matt's Youth himself, his favorite experiences as a teen included a mission trip to Montana, and high adventure events like rock-climbing.
A proud graduate of George Mason University, Ben holds a degree in marketing, bringing a unique perspective to our program, and also assists the church office with his marketing skills.
Beyond his role as a youth minister, Ben is a talented music production artist and pianist. In addition to his ministry and marketing support roles at St. Matthew's, Ben is busy building his own production company.
Ben finds joy in working with the youth, embracing their high energy, and guiding them through the twists and turns of life. His commitment extends beyond traditional mentoring, as he helps them navigate their faith journey and provides support through life's ups and downs.
