Imagine you’ve planned a magnificent vacation in the Caribbean, complete with a thrilling scuba diving adventure. You’ve saved up, and planned meticulously, and the day has finally arrived to embark on your journey. Now, picture that same excitement and anticipation, but with a twist: instead of sandy beaches and underwater explorations, you’re diving deep into the vibrant world of Vacation Bible School (VBS)!
Okay, so VBS might not be as relaxing as a Caribbean getaway, but it’s even more meaningful! Our Children's Ministry Director, Hilary Hultman-Lee, and her team have spent months preparing for this spiritual adventure, with countless volunteers (including many of you) helping with supplies, decorations, and registrations. Now, the time has come to help kids take the plunge into a deeper friendship with God.
During VBS week, we’ll be teaching the children that God is a friend who is real, loves us, can be trusted, is with us forever, and is a friend for everyone. Each day, we’ll explore a different aspect of God’s friendship through engaging Bible stories and hands-on activities.
How can you help with VBS this week?
PRAY
Join us in prayer as we embark on this week of spiritual adventure. Pray for the children attending VBS, that they may dive deep into their faith and form a lasting friendship with God. Lift up our dedicated volunteers, who are giving their time and energy to make this week special.
HELP DECORATE
We also need your help to set the stage for VBS! Join us on Sunday, July 21st, at 1 PM to decorate the church. Your creativity and hands-on assistance will create a vibrant, welcoming environment for the kids.
SERVE

This year, we've extended our invitation to many children from our community through the Hunger Response Team Backpack Buddies program and our neighbors from Rolling Ridge Elementary. We have over 40 students on scholarship! It's a wonderful opportunity to share God's love with these families.
