Looking for a summer camp that’s packed with fun, faith, and meaningful memories?
True North is a low-cost evening summer camp for kids hosted by St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church. Designed for children ages 3 through completed 5th grade, this camp blends the energy of Vacation Bible School (VBS) with the hands-on excitement of a traditional children’s summer program.
Each night, campers will explore glowing glaciers, racing rivers, and the unshakable truth that Jesus is our guiding light—even in a wild world.

Frequently Asked Questions
What should my child wear?
Your child will be provided with a special True North VBS t-shirt on their first day of camp. We encourage they wear it each night along with clothes they can move and play in, with closed-toe shoes. Some activities may get messy or wet.
Are their outdoor activities?
Yes. While most programming is indoors, we do have games outdoors each day (weather permitting). On Friday evening, we will have a special foam party to close out the week, a change of clothes and towel is recommended for Friday, parents are encouraged to arrive early for pickup on Friday to enjoy the foam party!
Are meals included?
Yes. A kid-friendly dinner (with lots of options) is provided each evening. Please include any dietary needs on your registration form.
How do I request a scholarship?
We never want cost to be the reason a child misses out on VBS. If your family could use financial assistance, simply email us at office@stmtts.org. We’ll make sure your child is registered and ready for the adventure.
