Hurricanes Harvey, Jose, and Maria have reduced parts of Texas, Louisiana, Florida, Cuba, Puerto Rico, and many Caribbean islands to rubble. Like so many others, Saint Matthew's is compelled to heed Jesus' call to be a neighbor to those devastated by these disasters.

St. Matthew's Day Luau, Sunday, Sept 24 at noon

On Sunday, Sept 24 we will be celebrating our patron Saint Matthew with a Luau!  The Luau will begin at noon.  The Luau is pot luck, so if you want to start planning what you want to make, please see some great ideas at: go.stmtts.org/LuauIdeas.

LINK, Inc. is a non-profit, 501C3 charity that exists to provide emergency food to people in need in local community.  St. Matt’s is one of the founding churches that believe in the power of selfless service and the importance of providing people in crisis with unconditional love.

Food Donations-  we have created themes around the current needs of the pantry. Please place your items in the big blue bin in the parish hall.

Alpha Wednesdays, starting September 27th

 Alpha is an introduction to the Christian faith and is open to anyone. This fall we will hold a series of weekly meetings over 10 weeks. Each meeting will start with a simple meal, a short DVD on the subject for that week and then small group discussion.
 
The course is designed for those wanting to investigate Christianity, new Christians, newcomers to the church and those wanting to brush up on the basics of our faith. This is an opportunity for you to bring a friend to explore the faith in a nonthreatening environment.
 
We will need volunteers to:
